There was a guy on FB looking for a loan of an S4 ABS unit? If he still needs it, I've managed to tidy up my 928 parts container so found one in there. Also have other S4 parts now available.

The RHD S2 has arrived in CHCH so engine/trans and ancillary parts will be up for grabs soon. LHD S2 still in Wellington.

Both cars are now at my place. They certainly look like they been in a paddock for 15 years.

I was a bit reticent to fire up these 2 928S2's since they've been sitting outside for so long but after seeing the Aussie dude get that EV donor car's engine running, I'm feeling like it might help ascertain how good the engines are.

Just a bit worried about timing belt snapping. I suppose since they're non-interference engines, it wouldn't be a disaster, but I'm wondering if it would be a good idea anyway to scavenge a couple of used-but-still-good timing belts off someone who meticulously changes them, to allow the engines to be properly tested before sale.

S2 have "interference" engines, if I'm not mistaken.

ExKiwi,
I have a NOS one (about 10yrs old) plus (I think) the one I took off my engine that still looked good (over 20yrs) that you could have for P & P.
