No_Substitute

I recently purchased a pod, which was nicely recovered in leather. It is intended to go in my S4 this winter, when I refresh the interior.

Anyway, I was looking at the pod today, and noticed that it has a Kontrolle stamp on the bottom, which says Okt. 1986. My car is a '89.

Are there differences that will prevent the use of this pod in my car? I did a quick search but nothing obvious popped up about differences in pods over the years.

78-89 the upholstered pod is the same....1990 > (air bag cars) is different.
