(E)EPROM burner for sale/trade
Oops! The fancy new German USB chip programmer I bought doesn't work with the NOS 2732A EPROMs I bought (TMS2732A).
I've only burned one 27C512 chip with it. Very easy to read/write, all software controlled.
Batronix BX32 Batupo ($149 + $60 shipping from DE)
SOLD!

John,
That's why I bought it, because it had several 2732As listed, which was unusual for a USB type programmer.
I requested one 512 chip update from Batronix, which they did quickly and w/o issue. But when I asked for the (Texas Instruments) TMS2732A though they said: "Unfortunately the TMS2732A can't be supported because of its high current consumption, I'm sorry".
TI (TMS2732A)
ST (M2732A)
Looking at the datasheets, the TI uses 657mW, versus the ST 127mA... I think maybe Gerry read the TI datasheet too quickly, and didn't think to divide by 5v = 131mA.
Doh!

I have 120 of them.
So your Batupo burns the STs with no problem?

Batronix says they've not been able to burn the TMS2732A, although they were able do the Intel D2732A, and the ST. I tried plugging it directly into the computer with a USB adapter, to no avail.
I'm selling this one (I'll throw it on eBay in a few days), and buying a (Pocket Programmer).
