This glorified dog and pony show would have never trasnspired had I not facilitated this deal for his car and embarked him on his journey. I would of been burned royally were it not for Firemed down in FL to bail me out and unload the car for me.
He sent me an email a few days ago with more or less the same "woe is me my doctor prescribed these pills and now I'm addicted..." story. With this guy everything is always someone else's fault it seems.
I don't expect to ever hear from him again, much less collect on the small sum he owes me. Nor do I expect him to make good on the last little bits of the deal we had for his car... some paperwork, a few spare parts to still take delivery of, etc.
Sorry man!

I have no hard feelings toward you at all. Interestingly enough, a week or so ago Ross reassured me via PM that he had not taken ANY Oxycontin since he was in Utah. Sure.
Edit: And you know how we docs function... We always prescribe MASSIVE amounts of Oxycontin. And then we hold a gun to the person's head and force him to swallow every last one!!!

Sorry to hear about your bad luck, I can relate. My own brother took me for $25K+ last fall/winter as he and his wife (now ex) were addicted to crack and hillbilly heroin (Oxycontin).
There are no depths to which a drug addict will not sink, no lie they won't tell, relationship they won't take advantage of or object they won't steal to get the next high. The truly sad part is they may have been good people to begin with, but once they foolishly take that first hit, they're done for and the grip that some drugs will put on them cannot be imagined unless you've experienced it.
This Whitefox needs help with his addiction (and a good swift kick in the ****) and only his family or friends (if he has any left) can provide that.

Its not the drug...its the misuse. My 26 year old son takes oxycodone for his pain. He had his upper right cheek bone, jaw bone, floor on the right orbit removed and replaced with a rib from his right side along with a back muscle to fill the void left by the cancerous tumor removal 7 years ago. He use has diminished over the years and I hope will end soon. He is still unable to drive.
Its the same as gun ownership...guns don't kill people...idiots do.
So sorry for Bigs loss...hell...everyones loss due to lack of trust....thats one of the hardest things to recover from once its gone.

Granted I am "not" that old, but the younger generation does continue to disappoint me on almost a daily basis....it all comes down to a fundamental lack of responsiblilty.....nothing is ever "their" fault...they are always "victims".....it gets OLD quick.....
Ross
Its time to man up and make this right.......even if you have to work out some type of payment plan with bigs...do whatever it takes......

The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.
