Wonder why there are no engine pictures? That always disturbs me.

But I am disturbed anyway....

go take a look at it in person. then if all looks good have a PPI done. I fear there is something wrong with the car.

1. a dealer asking a very fair price
2. its been bounced around from auction to auction.

make sure you PPI includes a TBF check. In the "DIY" section there is a post about exactly how to do this. The car looks really good for that price.

Be AFRAID...be very afraid

There is no such thing as a "cheap" 928.......I refer to the $15k rule (assuming you want a nice 928)...sure you can buy a $5k 928 for a bargin...then dump $10k into and many headaches to make it nice....or just buy a $15k 928 that is completely sorted out and be done.....with that said mine is for sale.... :>)

The red one...not the track shark!!

There's a bunch of good folks in the DC area...see if you can find Beerfish on here. He'll steer you in the right direction.

Doug,
you might try TriTec Automotive in Annapolis...bunch of techs that worked at a previous Porsche/Audi dealership there..I actually bought my 944 off one of the guys there, and i had asked them about 928s, they said they have experience with them.

I wholeheartedly agree with that rule and also the $15000 rule also means that you will be doing a great deal of the work with your own hands.

Seems there isn't a lot of responses for PPI in the DC area.
Might want to start a new thread asking for PPI help in DC region so the DC folk will chime in.
