Any Motorcycle Riders Here?

I would love to get a Monster to complete my collection..more specifically the "Matrix" monster..but alas...only 50 were brought stateside in 04.
I did sit on a S4R Monster (07 model year) and it felt great..very comfortable riding postion..compared to my 998 anyway. ...

I'll play...
Gary Nixon (or was he later than your guy?)
EDIT: I'm now seeing the 6 pipes...I don't remember anything that Nixon rode in his roadrace days having 6 pipes....so I give up.
Carl...Cool picture, #44 man.
Is that whole pack about to lap you?

These were accidents waiting to happen...made the GPZ seem tame and civilized:
The 750 H2 2 stroke triple. The frames were as stout as chopsticks. The brakes were for decoration only.
When the quirky powerband hits on those things, be prepared to hold on for dear life.
I remember this guy named Tony who had one that he commuted back & forth to high school. Whenever it was raining, you could be sure to see Tony lying in the road somewhere between his house and home. That guy was a walking road-rash.

Here is a labeled slightly different shot. "Mike the Bike" aboard the RC166 (6-cylinder 250 with 18,000 RPM redline) in 1966. Both true legends. Mike won so many races that year he was already World Champion by halfway through the season.

Nope, 4 stroke............6 cylinder, 18000 rpm.
Honda also made a 5 cylinder, 22000 rpm 125cc racer.
There's a youtube video of the 250 screaming down Bray Hill:

We're new to motorcycles; we just got this one a few weeks ago. Randy still can't drive it without the training wheels! We had to stick with the big back seat to keep me in place. Kind of hard to get a grip with one leg. My fold away crutches fit in one of the saddlebags so we're good to go!

After you get through the commentator dialogue-over in the first part, this Youtube video gives you a taste of the RC166... Just imagine scooting around the Isle of Man on those skinny tires!

Hah, hah! Notice the tachometer at the end the video exhibiting torque steer!
I love this one too. Wait...wait...wait...ZOOM!!!!...goodbye.

I had this poster on my wall for years. Reg Pridmore in '76.
Butler & Smith was in the next town over from mine. Pridmore's engine builder Udo Gietl lived right up the street from me. I didn't now Udo, but I knew his kid well. I remember when Udo had a custom made blue suede seat made for his personal R90 - the whole neighborhood was blown away.
Gietl tuned Steve McLaughlin's BMW for the first AMA Superbike race in 1976 down at Daytona when they won that race.
And speaking of kwackers, my buddy bought the KH/S1, the 250 version of the H1. 250cc's of screaming 2 stroke triple. It was awesome.
And for bikes in the neighborhood, all kinds from 900Z1's to Kawi 2 stroke triples of all stripes, Triumphs, BSA's, Nortons, Hondas, mainly CB's. We even had a Royal Enfield, I can't remember which model. Later had the Suzuki GS1000's, and a 750. Can't forget the Harley's too, we had a killer Electra Glide down the block.
Not to mention a bunch of minibikes. It was a great neighborhood to grow up in.
Funny, now that I think about it, most of the older guys that rode the British bikes were what they used to refer to as "hoods."

Thanks Bill!
Now I know who's pic is on one of my shirts.
Those video's of the running 250-6 sound like a triple 2-stroker. NEAT!
Yeah, those S1's and the S3's have quite a following....
Cheryl, I knew of a fellow, who was confined to a wheelchair. Had a sidecar built to fit his wheelchair, and fitted to a 400cc Honda, complete with all controls hand operated. Keep on enjoying two wheeled freedom!
