Last details.
9:00 AM sharp for those meeting the caravan at Sloatsburg rest-stop. Meeting place is in the parking structure, follow the signs for “Meeting Area”. Sloatsburg offers restrooms, coffee/food/fuel. Rhinebeck is about an hour drive from the rest-stop. (FYI 87-NY thruway is a toll road). Remember this is a parade not a race up the thruway. For those who wish to meet us at Rhinebeck, caravan should arrive 11 ish. Rhinebeck knows us as "928 Porsche Club"
Please preprogram your GPS or Map Quest the directions, if someone gets separated from the group (it will happen) don’t worry as the Air Show doesn’t begin until 2:00.

** Rhinebeck wants us to park on the “courtyard”, at the end of the airfield. When the caravan arrives we may have to line the cars on the street for few minutes while I find out which entrance. Once parked, we’ll walk to the ticket stand as a group to get special wrist bands. There is a group rate of $15.00 adult, $10.00 for child. This is based on least fifteen people attending. After we’re checked in, we’ll have a picnic lunch and admire our cars. Rhinebeck does have a snack stand.
Weather looks good, watch this thread Saturday night in case the event is canceled. I’ll have my BB on Sunday just email me if there is a problem toofast928@yahoo.com.

Below is the list of 13 definite, but there is least 5 more maybe’s. The more the better! Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Tony and everyone:

It was a great day today. Thanks for putting this together Tony. My daughter and I had a great time. I'd never heard of this place and we were really amazed at all the cool stuff they had there. The air show was amazing and as always it was great to meet with fellow 'listers and spend a beautiful day with them.

For everyone that couldn't make it this year. They gave us a place of honor to park in, right at the end of the runway in a little paddock all of our own:

I'm definitely looking forward to going back next year!

PS- How did your ride in the biplane go? I wish I could have stuck around to see that.

Ed, I'm sorry we didn't really get a chance to talk more. I wanted to show you the snorkel intake setup too. I'll have to catch you at the next one. It was great seeing you again.

Default Biplane pix

Tony, Ed and I had a wonderful time.
It was great to see everyone again and meet Mrs.Too Fast!
She has a great sense of adventure-her and I had the best time in the plane!
You have to get her a REAL car!

Mike, great meeting up with you and your daughter again. Did she really drive home? She was pretty excited at the possiblity
Although Ernest and Tony had the real cameras, here are two shots from the cell.
Rhinebeck Bridge and Catskill Mtns.
Thanks for posting a group pic! There was so much to see, I never got one.

Tony, thanks again. It was the perfect day trip
