Wow you realy were very lucky and fast thinking to get out of there with just the injuries you sustained.
It would be interesting to look under the car to see if there are any signs of point of origin. Post some good photo's of it, I would think if it were a cat fire it should be obvious compared to the other cat and it would have burned from the inside out. If it were a leaking transmission hose ignited by the cat, the cat would have burned from the outside. Just a thought as I am not a fire investigator.

If you were were to go back to the scene of the fire, you might also see a trail of transmission fluid on the road leading up to that spot.

WOW....

Joey if you need better beads let me know!

You kept a cool head in a very tough situation.

So very thankful you are relatively unharmed.

Do as the racers do and get back in a 928 asap.

Now on to some serious stuff.... Having lots of family roots in Louisiana I was pleased to see the Mardi Gras beads survived unscathed (on passenger's seat). And although the family tree in the bayou is more of a family vine, nobody's Sister takes their Brother to a strip club.
My sister is awesome

Joey, another idea is that once all of the destroyed parts are off the car -you have a great candidate for a race car (already gutted)!
