Laura and I decided to roll down to Marble Falls solo Thursday night. We stayed the night at the La Quinta across the lake. We really should look at this hotel for next year if we decide on Marlbe Falls again. Weekday rate was only 80 bux with weekend rates very close to Hampton rates and every room had a balcony with an awsome view of the lake. Laura and I are on our way to The Oasis for lunch right now......

Party in the parking lot is still in full effect. We have already been told to turn down the music. I feel like a teenager again.....

Well we are off to a roaring start. After closing out the River city grill, there was a lively party out in the hotel parking lot (you would think they would learn to stop inviting us back

) Plenty of wine, beer and spirits to go around.

I expect tomorrow to be even better. See ya all in the morning.

The parking lot session wore me out. Great turnout with 25 928's including 7 GTS's. The ride was great, a little slower than in previous years but better scenery. Best part, no accidents, no tickets, no breakdowns.

We had a great time as usual. Thanks to Roger and Chuck and others that helped organize this awesome event. I think we had our biggest crowd yet.
