Default Help identify connector under centre console!

So this morning I found that the cabin temp sensor showed open circuit. I need to check if it's the sensor or connections to it which means removing centre console.

having done this before I know that though there seem to be lots of connectors, almost all are unique/colour coded so it's easier than it looks to put things back. Even so I've been labelling some connectors as I undo them just to speed up re-assembly.

While I'm freeing up the harness wires to the window/sunroof switches, I notice this 6 pin male connector. I'm almost certain it's not one I'd disconnected, and I can't find a mating connector hanging around.

From the colours does anyone have an idea what it could be for? The cable joins into the very thick loom that snakes up and behind the dash.

My only guess is that's it's wiring for rear aircon (don't have it), but would be reassuring to have a definite ID! The wiring colours suggest grounds, and switched/x-bus 12V supplies?

Thanks

Tried that first John but didn't help. Only candidates were an airbag connector in central console (91 not equipped, but may have been option?) but wires didn't match. Ditto the wiring diagram lists one other 6 pin connector in centre console for aircon but the colours don't match my orphaned plug.

Sorry John, prize goes to Mr Merlin.

When i disconnected the central locking/aircon panel I was surprised that there was only 1 connector (the write-up I was following referred to another) but thought little of it. I put the panel in the parts box and now taking a look there is a socket on umbilical. The wiring colours in the plug match the wiring diagram.

Come to think of it I hadn't tried the central locking button since buying car in April, so had no idea that button wasn't working.

Last one in there hadn't reconnected it. I know someone's had the console out in past because one of the tabs that clicks into base of shift lever is broken, and has been repaired by glueing in a bolt! Everything else was re-connected ok though.
