Should Porsche come out with a "new" 928?

A new Porsche Coupe announcement?
Porsche posted this on Facebook this morning, in addition a press release stated they are announcing three cars at Geneva this year. Maybe we'll finally see the long rumored coupe?

By 2017 standards, a "coupe" can have 4-doors so anything is possible.

The Panamera Super Tourismo Wagon will be making its public debut. They will probably have a high end super car fingers crossed

Coupe has meant 2 doors since long before I was born. I guess Porsche can name it whatever they want. But, the pic of the 928, and the word 'coupe' in the text would indicate a true two door coupe. One can hope, but there's every possibility that they are just scrunching down the big SUV with 4 doors into what they can call a coupe. pfft...

I seriously doubt it. Porsche has to many versions of the 911, and they're all coupes, plus the Cayman.
Over the years, I've always wanted them to build another 928 type car, but I don't think it'll ever happen. With the safety rules in Germany, regarding bumper height, they can't produce a car with the visual impact of the 928.
GM stopped producing the El Camino, for the U.S. market, though they built them in Australia, and sold them as Holden Utes. Holden is now out of production too. Bob Lutz promised they would be sold in the U.S., never happened.
I guess this means that my El Camino, and 928 will be real collector cars some day. For what it would cost to replace them, I'm satisfied with what I've got.

Unusual to see body colored horizontal grill slats on that car. Was that just a one-off? I thought the production cars were all black? I think it looks pretty good body color. Helps fill in the "missing front teeth" look.

"The stand will also include other vehicles such as the GTstreet R Coupe, the Magnum Sport Edition "30 Years" (based on the Cayenne Turbo) and another Coupe model based on the Porsche 928 S4."
...
"As for the 718 Cayman S-based TechArt Coupe, it comes with a dynamic aero kit, featuring a two-piece front spoiler, a central air outlet, lateral air inlet fins, rear diffuser and two different rear spoilers for a more aggressive look. Performance-wise, the TA 082/S1 power kit raises the output to 400 horses, making 0-100 km/h (62 mph) possible in 3.9 seconds."

Weird how the most significant announcement (coupe based on the 928 S4) is hardly an afterthought in this story. Makes me question its validity.

With coupe' meaning cut in French, I would guess a two door Panamera, especially in light of the new Panamera. Gets Porsche into the S Class Coupe realm. I do not know any way to read this given the 928 reference.
