the 928 abs is almost useless on the track, and if you try and use it, you could be in BIG trouble.
. However, what I have found it to be good for, is an early warning system for lockup, especially in those hard transission corners that also have threashold braking. Ive driven the car both ways over the years. basically, you get the same feeling as locking up the No-ABS system, but with more of it when a tire does start to lock up. basicallly, just a flat spot protector, no more. at a cost of 10lbs or so, and no requirement to change the lines to a non-abs system, its worth it. ![]() mk

Saturday sounds good. I dont want to bury your saturday, but maybe we can just do something quick to see if we can get the ABS to free up the one line.

We looked into this yesterday, and managed to get flow out of the DS ine by cycling the ABS solenoid on that side. However, we're not real confident in the outcome -- the flow stopped a few times, we got it going then it stopped again.... not real confidence-inspiring. The two ABS units that I have also seem to have dead/stuck solenoids; I'll be looking into whether that is electrical or mechanical later on today. Anyone know of a place where these units can be reconditioned?
