My Blue car would not have needed a paint job as it had a show car finish on it.
It was a complete strip down to metal.
The PU covers were also blasted to their original surface, if you saw it you would know how nice it was,
it just need more power and better brakes

Highway 176 out of Saluda NC pics off google
Crazy turns, wide road, steeply downhill, very scenic for miles

Just my input, but a brisk drive up around Ceasars Head and into Brevard is fun and there's a nice restaurant at the end of the drive.
The majority rules, though. I'm always up for a roadtrip, so whatever is fine by me.

I am no longer in Grreenville, so I won't be joining in with you guys anytime soon unfortunately, but I do have a suggestion.
Brevard is a nice little town, but getting there ain't no fun. RT 276 from SC will only overheat your engine and transmission on the way up and do the same to your brakes on the way down. The views are great but it is more dangerous than fun.
A great ride would be HWY 26 from Spartanburg to RT 74 to RT 9 up to Lake Lure, NC (very nice) then over to Chimney Rock. Rt 9 is an awesome road thru here, very much like Vermont. Chimney Rock is a cool place, grab lunch. Then take 64 back to HWY 26 and go to Saluda. From there take 176 pictured above to Tryon and Landrum where its back to Spartanburg on 26.
Would not take too long but would be some of the best driving roads you can find. Just a note Pre-arranged racing whatever that means can result in seizure of your cars on the spot in NC.

Old standby is meet at Ashville or ? then cruise to a location for dinning.
Where are most of you from so that unlike the racing I do it is not 220 miles just to get to the start point.
