Default Selling my '89GT (sold)

I have decided to sell my '89GT. Not to worry, I will still have a Porsche, just a 997. I have enjoyed my 928 immensely, but it is time to move on. Below is the link to my craigslist ad. Thanks to all the 928 people that have helped me over the years, especially Bill Ball, without whom 928 ownership would have been much less enjoyable.

I've got a couple of customers looking for this vintage/type 928.

A price would be handy.

Nice car and a nice price - good luck with the sale.

IIRC, this is Seth's former 89GT. I haven't seen it in person, but saw many pics when he had it for sale and it looked like one of the finest 89GT's in existence. I would think it's well worth the price. GLWS.

Yes, this is Seth's former car. It is in basically the same condition as when I bought it. I did put a few miles on it, 15000 in 4 years, not too excessive in my opinion.

I have known this car since before Seth owned it. It's downright fabulous. It always won the "cleanest 928" award at our local events. Whoever buys this should live happily ever after. Don't hesitate too long.

I think $26k would be ALL the money for sure... nice looking car! I'd buy the '88 S4 with 5400 miles on it or a nice GTS for that kind of money, but if you want the best of the 5spd cars this might well be it! No offense intended, that is just a lot of money for a car with 70k miles on the odo...

I've seen the car back in the Devek Day Days.
It was nice for sure!!
IIRC, didn't Seth buy it at a Dodge Dealership?? I think I remember talking to him and he said he "stole it" as someone traded it in.
I also recall Gearge "formerly Phat 928" having it on his website at the place him and Jim put together after Jim left Devek. Can't remember the name of the shop.
Again, a really nice car!!

This is one of the cleanest 928's around...period.....add in the fact that is true 89GT just increases its value....when I 1st saw this GT it is the "my 928 has to be cleaner than this" target I set for sharky..... I can't say if I ever achieved that goal...but when we parked both cars side by side at Sharktoberfest 2006....they got their fair share of looks!!!

That's probably one of the nicest examples of a GT that you can find. Whoever gets this car will be very lucky. I hope it'll always be as well taken care of as it was in the past.

It's well worth the price, in my humble little opinion.

That was the guy who owned it prior to Seth.

Yes, Seth had them do a few things on the car - I think it was sound dampening and some stereo work.

Guards Red!! That is the color a 928 should be, especially a GT.

Car looks great and price is right IMO.

John Pohl owned it before Seth. He told the story of finding it at a dealership in Reno being sold as an S4.
