Somebody asked me about a 928 child seat...
But I can't remember who it was.
If you are looking for a Porsche child seat for ages 9 Months to 4 Years, or weights of 9 to 18kg, there is one for sale on a German message board.
Asking price is Euro 175

I don't know how safe or durable this seat is, but it looks pretty good on the picture.
I can put you in touch with the seller.

Race Car
If it is the same as the one Nicole found, it's for too small a child and I'll have to go with this vest:

I would think the 928 back seats are kid ready! I remember way back in 79 I took my first ride in my uncles 928. Now the fun part is that this took place up in the mountains of Caracas Venezuela, or better said... no speed limit! His work partner had the 911 turbo, and my neighbor had a 356 Silver Carrera (yep you read it right) On a side note my first Porsche was a 356 my second a 1978 928. Anyway, I was 10 years old and I still remember how great I fit in the rear seat!
Oh, and back then no one had child seats, so it was nice sitting down in a car and not flopping around as it went screaming around the hundreds of turns!

Long, long, long ago as a child ,with Dad at the wheel, you could jump around in the front seat without a safety belt or safety glass and the dash had sharp hard edges. You could also discard your beer cans along the way. How did we survive ?

It would be interesting to see some pictures of your seat - just for reference.
Aww... yes, it was you. And I apologize for not remembering it was you... I'm getting old.

James, not picking on you as it is somewhat a miracle many of us are still here, just thought it a good place to sneak in a PSA

I use a britax marathon.... you really only need the porsche child seat if you have to turn off a front airbag.
The Porsche seat I have with the airbag latch is the exact same as the marathon only it says Porsche.

Here are some useful pics of child seats that will fit in the back of a 928:

I have one of these which fits well in the back of a DB9 and GTR, however, I haven't tried it on the 928, but will once my car is back from the garage.
They are called "Kiddy Infinity Pro" and we also use our on the plane without issue priced about 149 GBP. They are made in germany and the design has won many awards
