Default Free Piece of Porsche History!

As a promo for the new Cayenne, Porsche cut up 60 meters of guardrail from their Leipzig test track and are sending them out for free, mounted on a nice plaque. This is a nice memento for any Porsche fan so I figured I'd post it here in case any of you are interested. Quantities are limited of course.

Request yours here:

No doubt... Felt unappreciated. Big mis-step on Porsche's part in my opinion. Shows they don't care about "older" p-car owners. I told them I had a pepper.

Cayenne is pretty awesome in offroad trim. U should check out some of the rally videos . I admit its pretty easy to hate them when soccer moms cut you off but check some of the racing videos. U may change your opinion.

Check it out .

I guess Porsche only sells to the US. This offer does not appear to be accessible for those of us living up North (Canada). Need a valid zip code (our postal code format is not accepted).

Too bad ...

Odd there is no love for the 928, 944, 924, 914, or even the 356 - you'd think they'd let you check that.

I checked Boxster S since it would probably be my choice for a DD.

Seriously disappointing. Can't even get their own website to support the old models.

I checked Cayman.

Anyway, I'm getting my piece of guardrail.
