I don't think the 94 and 95 GTS's have those holes drilled in them. Last year I helped a good friend in changing his 94 GTS's rod bearings. We looked and there were no holes. His GTS is one of the last 94s brought to US. Greg Brown can definitely confirm if some of the GTS's have the holes or not, I don't think any of them do, unless you have opened up a GTS engine and the holes were actually drilled all the way trough from factory??

If you have 2R rods then just reuse them, 1R rods are known to let go in some cases.

Might be cheaper to drop in a used s4 engine and a supercharger kit.
Seems like that would be a lot cheaper than rebuilding the GTS engine, or building a stroker, but would give you the same level of power or perhaps greater...

There needs to be a series of holes drilled under the oil control ring that communicate with the inside of the piston. Look at the bottom of the piston and see if you see any small (approx 2.5mm) holes drilled. You can also lift up the oil control ring (3rd ring) to see the holes. All of the GTS pistons that I've seen have the holes started, but not completely drilled. They need to be drilled to properly return the oil "scraped" from the cylinder walls.

There are differencees between S4/GT and GTS block but nothing prevents modifying earlier block so that it works with GTS moving parts.

I'd try to find a "0" block and have it gently, carefully honed....

I'm sorry to listen that... Happily I could catch my S4 before she went downhill...
I can confirm what Constantine said, there are no blocks available from Factory - I know it first hand. The GTS blocks are different. Thought, they could be used.
However, I'd try to get a poper S4/GT engine and tune her - without major changes you can easily get about 438 HP and still have an engine that enjoys to rev. Or use a supercharger / compressor to improve it (I might get a LOTEC kit that I could offer you).
About the holes in the piston I'm quoting that note here from rennlist:
Good luck!

I would look for a GTS with cam belt failure, or a used GTS engine. There are a number of dismantlers in Germany and UK who may well be able to help.
Unless you're already invested a lot in your GTS engine, it simply doesn't make economic sense to pay someone else to rebuild it for you.
eBay 110522679087 might be a reasonable option (no affiliation).

As Greg says, GTS pistons do not have small 3mm diameter holes behind oil ring drilled all the way through towards piston center. Those 8 need to be drilled very carefully so that piston skirt coating is not damaged.

Errr... You're welcome!
Uprgrading our just modifying frame, engine, safety parts and/or wheels size is simply illegal in France for any car, bike, truck, etc.
Insurrance would simply kick your *** in case of an accident, plus a possible journey in jail if the cops are involved...
Cheers,
Michel
