Default Free 928 Wheels

I'm selling these at what I feel is the fair market rate for flat dish wheels: $0.00. If you can use them (spares, winter wheels, something to roll a project around) they are yours. The only catch is you have to pick them up from Eldersburg, MD. PM if interested, price is firm.

Update: Sold Pending Payment of $0.00

My first 928 had a broken manhole cover wheel. I think they were $1400 each.

Sounds like the no brainer deal of the day! I wish I could get that kind of deal on a front spoiler

I'd clean them up and run them. Love the flat 16 inch wheels! If they don't go to another good home they can come here to live.

Jim, when you go to get the cap, can you bring the wheels back?

I could use them, and I would be happy to drive up and pick them up. Let me know what schedule would work for you. And Jim, I'll reserve a center cap for you if I get them.

They're all yours if you want them. For the record, I value them at $0.00 not because I don't like them myself but because I have a very hard time getting anything for them when I try to sell them... so the price reflects market demand. PM me and we compare schedules.

finally, someone who is realistic about the value of these wheels.

They probably cost Porsche a fortune to have them forged, too bad they look like... well just a dinner plate.

Since Porsche never ever chromed them it is not really "original". Also note they tend to leak around the lips as the chrome plating starts to lift and bubble due to corrosion.

I guess original "style", two of the rims on the 86 are lifting some I assume from the salt from up north. I think they look better than the BBS's on the 86.5.

I sprayed a set black and threw some snow tires on 'em. I think they look pretty good.
