Default Andy Keel's SuperModel S/C kit

Is there any chance that someone out there is interested in an original Andy Keel intercooled "SuperModel" kit? It has been mounted but not yet run. Due to personal circumstances I can't complete the installation so I am dismounting it and offering all of the associated paraphernalia that I have for it.

Including throttle body, intercooler rad, associated pulleys belts, and spacers, and everything that I don't need to return the car to its normally aspirated configuration.

PM if interested to discuss the transaction.

Hey Brian

You might want to post a price and change the tile to"Andy Keel Twin Screw S/C for sale". You might get more action on this thread.

Nice looking system, if I wasn't boosted already I would be interested.

Yes a price would be good, and was it ordered for the 87 or the 89.
I have a 89 euro

Since Andy Keel isn't in the business anymore, this will be "figure it out as you go" kit, kind of like my FAST kit was. If you are resourceful you will be able to get it running well with the support here, plus DR markets a variant of this kit at 928 Specialists.

Looks like all the important pieces are there based on the pics. Anything else can be picked up or made as you go along.

I like that idler and PS pulley spacer to allow the PS and alternator to run on one belt, very clever!

Brad, I know you want this! You could just drive over and pick it up.

Although DR's tensioner is really cool, I haven't had any belt slip problems with a 2.25" pulley and 8.5psi on the one pictured above.

Boost will be dependent on a few things, but I believe the base kit was 8-10 psi and but few guys have upped the boost by putting a smaller SCer pulley on.

This appears to be a 2.2l blower and should be capable of putting down 450RWHP.

Here's a pic of DR's dual tension system... you can barely see the tensioner (off a Ford GT) it's the silver thing under the left idler pulley. One of the key things is to get enough wrap on the SCer pulley to prevent belt slip - DR certianly got that nailed!
