Gasket Set
Was looking at doing an engine rebuild. I have a 4.7L euro bottom end and I am putting 4.5L US heads on it. should I be able to use an engine gasket set of a 4.7L to do the re-build? will any gaskets or seals that associate with the heads work on my 4.5L heads since the gasket set is for a 4.7L engine??

You should look carefully through the PET. Determine which parts you need and want to replace. Then look through the gasket sets. The Reinz kits include what is in the parts list found in the PET.
My first take at your issue is finding a kit that has 4.7l head gaskets with CIS components. This is not a set made for use in the US.
You might just identify all the parts you want. The trick is really all the little sealing rings that, upon removal, you find that you'd like new ones.

head gaskets and intake are fine. in fact, i think most everything will work as most components are the same, at least the ones that are gasket'ed.
(except for the different ones that follow the euro stuff)

I would not buy a kit. As far as I can tell there is no savings buying the kit vs. buying each and every gasket seperatly. And, even in a case where you are building a totally standard motor, you don't usually need each and every gasket.

I should point out that this is going into an L-jet car. using a 4.7L euro bottom end with 4.5L US heads. Does Roger sell the 4.7L gasket sets? I assumed it would be cheaper to buy the whole set then to price everything out individually.

I did this exercise a few years back and it was cheaper to get just what I needed for an engine required as opposed to getting the kit. I had done an upper-end rebuild and T-belt so a few things not needed. Gaskets for the heads, oil pan, cam towers and water cross-over are essential.
Since then I've rebuilt another engine and just got the kit.
