water pump question
I have been going through all of the posts about water pumps and have been wondering if it would be better to gert a new water pump or use my existing one with 100 000 miles on it that dosen't appear to have any issues

since you have a non interference engine,
using an old WP that has a tight shaft and doesnt leak will work.
Otherwise putting on a new part will usually result in less rework down the road

The days of the metal impellers are finally over. We have both water pumps (early and late) with plastic impellers. New Laso's at $275 each which includes a Porsche gasket.
