Dave & Flo,
First I would like to thank you for all the hard work and effort that goes into a large event such as this, your hosted events are wonderful gatherings of like minded people.

As for the Winter vs. Summer question....well you could do one in the middle of Winter and I would figure out a way to attend! Seriously, either one is fine.

The Spring version gives long dormant cars (and sometime people!) an opportunity t come out and play while having a plethora (did I really just use that word?) of knowledgeable 928 gurus on hand to assist with any "return from hibernation" glitches.

The Winter/Fall version allows for a whole seasons worth of issues to crop up and be diagnosed/fixed with a like minded crowd. For some, it is a last run before winter storage.

Either way, it's a grand tradition!

Thanks again,

Rich

Thank you Tass for hosting another great 928 gathering. Your family and friends gave up a beautiful sunday to take care of us 928'ers. And the food was insanely good as usual.
Tass Chili took away the morning chill really effectively.

Hope your were able to get the divots out of your lawn.

As always, Dave and Flo put on a class event!

Thanks Dave.

As for Spring versus Fall, either works. I do think that we shouldn't impose upon your hospitality more than once per year.

One of these years, I will have to look into buying one of the neighbors' houses and leveling it so that we can have enough parking space for an event at my place.

The event would just not be the same if you couldn't make it. Thank you for the fantastic photo record of the day.

It was a great event and good to see so many 928'ers. Davis C. gave me a personal tech session on the water pump failure. Dave can you send me the contact of the pump rebuilder that you will be sending all your water pumps to?
thanks

Tass, Flo, Thanks for opening up your home to us, I had a great time, I am soooo jealous of the garage setup you have. Food was great, good company, plus a great ride up from PA, felt good to get the car out and exercised after a long winter.

Hey Ernest. Great photos. Thanks for sharing. As I was reading the captions I noticed “one of these cars don’t look like the others” and had to laugh. Can't sneak anything past you 928 guys. Thanks to all for the great hospitality shown the 951 guy. You have an awesome group of Porsche enthusiasts.

Here you can easily spot the "other" car in this sweet Porsche lineup. At least the wheels are shared between the 928/951.

Looks like a great time! Enjoyed the pics, thanks Ernest, et al for posting.

We are going to make up there one of these times, for the Fall event.

I was going to post these but then saw Ernest's album and abandoned the idea as mine aren't the most interesting shots. But then I thought "what the hell", so here they are.

I also shot some rolls of medium format film. After I process the B&W and get the slides processed, if there are any good shots I'll scan and post them.

I'll say it again - it was a good time (and the drive home was a blast too!).

Ethan,

Thanks for taking the time to shoot and post your pictures

They look great and they add a few more faces along with the cars.

Default Help identify your car

There is going to be a magazine article on the Wilbraham event and I have been asked to identify some cars and provide some owner contact information.

If you attended the event and remember where you were parked, please check out these pics and tell me if your car is shown. Or maybe you can ID another members car? Not all of the attendees were Renlisters so I need to send emails to some of them.

Thanks
Tass
