Doesn't look that bad for 1500!

I just talked to the guy. He is going to email me more pictures.

He owns a salvage yard. The car was a repo and he doesn't want to crush it.

He says it ran/runs (?) but they don't have a key!

It appears to be a Euro but he knows nothing about these cars. He couldn't even tell me if it has spider or organ pipe intake. I totally spaced it off and forgot to ask if it is auto or manual.

I requested more exterior, interior and engine bay pictures. If he comes through I will share.

What would it cost to get it back to Minnesota? I'm guessing I wouldn't be driving it!

Anyway, looking forward to more pics.

I bought my 84 euro for $1100, running, clean title, and with known electrical only issues, which were easy to fix. This one for 1500 is probably priced about right for our market - and i'm not going after it! Shipping a non runner to Minn will cost you around $900.

Stealth Mode... I'm in Elk Grove too, so let me know if you get it. I can help out if it needs work.

If you have never owned a 928 tread lightly, make sure you know what you are getting into , or divorce control will accelerate faster than the 928 will.
Or as I did , convince the wife she needs it ( our 3rd 928) and it will be hers - LOL!

I'm really surprised this car is still available.

I would buy it if it wouldn't cost so much to ship!

Richard, I 'm Richard also. I am in Laguna by Big 5. Thanks for the offer of help. Although this will be 928 #3 the other 2 still stomp a mudhole in my backside fairly often! A better "extra" brain and experience is always welcome relief. I learn more everytime I touch them.

Neil, I can't convince the wife that the 928 is much better than the Suburban. Something in her refuses to let her enjoy a 25 mph corner @ 80! I don't get it.

72 914 Renegade 350 conversion - gone but not forgotten.
79 928 Silver (black primer currently) LSD - reserected from the dead
79 928 Gold ran, needs timing belt/parts car

Richard, I'm up by Laguna Creek High School, so lets get together. I'm around all weekend, have to finish my exhaust project so I can get smogged. Come on by on Saturday if you are free. Send me a pm, we'll work it out.
