Default 78 top end refresh

I thought I would post up the pictures from my top end refresh. I replaced the older hoses, intake boots and gaskets, water bridge and oil bridge gaskets, thermostat and gasket, distributor, removed the EGR valve and air pump plumbing, and powder coated the intake. The intake was powder coated by a local 928'er, Ben.
I had the intake from my spare engine PC'd before I started.

The only issues I ran into were the oil bridge bolts broke, and the PC'd intake was from a 79 EURO engine, and did not have the connection for the pipe that runs to the EGR valve.

That would be an intake refresh.....top end usually means removing the cylinder heads and a valve job. Very nice work.

Yeah it pools in the V and in small areas beneath the water bridge. But you probably have a lot of oil, dirt, leaves, etc already in there.

It really is a gold color, but my cheap camera couldn't catch the color quite right.
Ben (BPG_Austin) did a fantastic job powder coating them for me.

They were a kit on eBay. I bought them a long time ago, but I think they were from 928Motorsports.
