Weaherstrippig-leather cond. best?
This new to me vehicle, the 87 is in such nice shape, I'd like to keep it that way.
As of now I live in a condo-NO GARAGE.
Not one piece of any weather stripping is worn. What protectants are the best for the rubber?
The dash is black leather in beautiful condition. What should I use to ultimately protect it?
The seats are tan and very nice as well. I'd like to make it a habit of keeping them supple. What to use that is readily available ?
-Also , and I am being very picky here, the shifter is black and is just worn a bit -by color- what can I use to bring back the black ?
Thanks.

Leather Masters cleaners and conditioners for the leather. 303 or Griots for the vinyl and rubber.

I would suggest to get a tube of Dow corning 111 this can be used on all of the rubber bits especially the window seals along the lower edges of the door window openings just smear it on and let the sun bake it in keep it off the windows it is also good to smear on the hatch seal it will keep it soft forever

Mike there is NOTHING that can protect your dash or your interior. NOTHING.
You need to cover the car, and even then if there's sun, it will heat the interior to where the dash and seats will be damaged (evewn if a little). Ask me, been there done that.
The best treatment for vinyl is nothing. Any oil you add to it, will cause it to bake. Duhh it's oil And for leather, I've used Leatherique with excellent results. I thin you basically have to treat your leather like your girlfriend treats her face ... come to think of it, face lotion may be a good thing. Either way ... Leatherique for leather, nothing for plastic, and cover your car!!

Nicole offers the correct window shields for your. Use them religiously and you'll dramatically reduce the sun and heat-related damage. Religiously means all the time, every time the car is exposed to sun. A cover is a great idea too for when it's parked, but that means the car must be kept clean, really clean, between coverings. Instant spray detailer is your best friend for this duty, short of washing it after every use major or minor.
FWIW, nice cars become garage art when the effort to keep them nice exceeds the value of use. No problem for Mike with no garage, but easy for many of the rest of the group. Mine lives covered in the garage for weeks at a time while I'm travelling. Covered, resting quietly, battery disconnected. Just needs some cinder blocks and a tree growing through the floor to go from garage art to redneck lawn ornament.

+1 on the 303 Aerospace protectant for vinyl and rubber.
The list of products which have no silicone or petroleum products in them and will provide UV protection is very small - only about 4 or 5 products.
I have a list somewhere - 303 is the one I use. It holds up reasonably well in our extreme UV climate here in Oz.

For leather I have had good luck with the leatherique system - they make a dye too.

The best preserved cars I have seen are always covered.
