Upper line into the condenser - The original condenser had the upper connector facing straight down. I didn't even try to adapt the original hard line to the new condenser and made a new hardline from the 18 inch m-f section in the vintage air link mentioned above. I mounted the new condenser in the car and used some 1/8 steel rod to mock up the bends needed to get from the condenser down through the slot between the radiator tank and the car structure and then down to the spot on the frame rail where the original hard line was crimped to the hose from the compressor. After eyeballing everything a few times I used a conduit bender and made the big bend seen at the top in my picture above. A second bend then got the tubing vertical so a third bend would send the tubing back through the slot alngside the radiator tank. A couple of tweaks got the tube going past the point where it meet the hose. I marked the tube at that point and then cut off the male end. An EZ-CLIP barb fitting was then brazed on the end. The link to a source for the EZ-CLIP fitting is linked above and it comes with a little ring of solder that make brazing the fitting on easy.
