The black GTS with the Kenesis wheels looks like Greg Schickel's GTS. If so, that car will be near perfect! He always did excellent maintenance on his cars.

I went to check this car out in July when owner #3 was trying to sell it himself and we took it for a spin on the local roads and the highway. From what I recall, he told me it was a Porsche executive car or something like that with a custom color. The rims were aftermarket (non-Porsche). The AC blew warm then. I had gone through the records he had for owner #2 and himself and the TB was pretty old from what I remember, but the owner wasn't interested in changing it at the time since it had been changed at 38k miles (about 10 years prior or so if I remember). In fact, the TB warning light came on at the end of my test drive. Brake fluid was about 3-4 years old at the time, too, from what I remember. It has an aftermarket exhaust system. The headlamps didn't come up reliably, the shaft had some lateral play in it and it would get stuck. Paint is a 7/10; it looks better in the pictures; interior 8-9/10. There is an aftermarket stereo of some kind too and the FM didn't work -- owner said something about the antenna not being connected from I think. Not sure what he's addressed since then. The car sounded good and delivered decent power. The brakes were very squeaky which he attributed to the relatively new pads. He wanted $22,500 then and wouldn't budge, even with the needed maintenance I pointed out to him.

Frank has had a lot of experiences with 928s all these years and his shop is only a mile or 2 from the dealership. Give him a call and I am sure he can help you on this.

Thanks. It didn't help the seller's cause that it was 101F that day and I was told the AC worked before going up there. Oh well. On the bright side, my wife and I made a nice Napa weekend trip out of it in the end, even though we passed on the GT.
