S4 Budge stroke engine build question??

I agree completely! Strange things do happen and it can be very tough to figure out what went wrong.
Regarding the GTS rods....I've never done any actual load or strength testing. I'd have to think that Porsche certainly required this from the manufacturer and I'd have to guess that there is a pretty large "safety factor", built in. I certainly don't even remotely think that stock GTS 2R rods are junk. 1R rods even seem pretty sturdy....even though Porsche essentially told evryone to get them out of their engines.
I'm a gearhead. I "react" to things I see. If I see bent rods in several engines, for no obvious reason, I become concerned.
Stock GTS cranks and rods are very expensive, from Porsche. There are less and less of these pieces sitting around, used.
If I can build a significantly lighter, significantly better crank and better connecting rods....all for less money than Porsche pieces....there are a few people that can use these pieces....including me.
Wait until you see this new crank and rods....it will knock your hat off!

Not sure I understand your question.
I've got three different stroke cranks being made.

Jerry:
There's a new thread that was started.
"Strok Question".
Go look at the picture of the Chevy rod in the 928 engine.
If you don't understand the problem by looking at this picture.....I'm not sure that either Carrillo or I could ever explain it, to you.
