Default Shark Question on Car Talk

928 advice from Tom & Ray on Car Talk. A caller wants advice about her husband buying a 928 and what repair expenses might be. Also in the show is a caller about a 944 that starts and moves on its own.

Cardio thoracic surgeon...and she asks "what is this going to cost me". Your walking papers perhaps..whups, that's just me..."He's got to push this through me before he gets it.."...Wow. I guess good on them for taking their time getting to 'write the check and shut up'.

I thought the same exact thing. She better look for a new attitude before she is the bitchy ex-wife.

My justification is that my "hobby" is cheaper than a 25 year old girl friend! So far so good but my kids think I'm possessed which is mostly true.

But your hobby and a 25 year old girlfriend will put a smile on your face that only a bitchy ex-wife and unruly kids can remove!

And that's a maybe!

About the self-moving 944: That's the second time i've heard of a 944 (on Car Talk) driving on it's own. RUN AWAY! They're coming for us!

Women like that make my blood boil and my skin crawl. Ugh.

If I was working that hard to save people's lives and wanted to buy something and she got in my way....

And I have been married happily for 12 years. I know there are a bunch of bitchy divorced men on this site, but there are OTHER women that exist that are not like this. Though not many are american.

Frick & Frack, for all their MIT, BS, didn't answer the question. They should have directed her to the 928 forum of Rennlist. Typical Cambridge clowns.

I got my MSME from Taco (Cal) Tech., a much better school, and saturated in the So Cal car culture.

BTW, my ole lady is a Angel's wife through, and through. She loves scooters and cars! Otherwise we wouldn't be married, let alone 48 years.

You're evil! I am fortunate, my wife is a fitness instructor and I can and have bounced a few quarters off a few places of her physique. Kids are almost on their own but with all girls(3) I expect my check book will be WOT for many years to come. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I work with a few females that want to drive every man into the ground if they don’t submit to their every want. You can spot their husbands from across the room, they will be the once that look like wiped puppies, wearing a tie that his wife told him to wear and has to ask to go to the bathroom.

This poor schlep needs to take hold of his nut sack and put his overbearing wife in her place. Or, replace her with a hottie that wants her own Porsche!

Run away 944! That'll buff right out!

My cars are my hobby, therefore if my wife/gf wants me around she gets to deal with it... Point blank, no questions... ever...
