Sea Land Freight. Wks delivery, but flat rate based on room it takes in a shipping container.

Is it going to be dock to dock or you need lift gate service?

Oh ya..sorry, use an expediter to manage the shipping...I generally meant that its going by ship at a volume rate in a container. You cannot wrap this up enough, and once you do...there maybe something you can FOG the engine with inside the bag to help keep the salt air off it too.

I had a block shipped from Texas, worked out fine, but I don't know that much about the shipper. I just had an upright bass shipped from L.A. to Honolulu on DHX. They did a nice job on that, but I don't know if they would do a motor. Came to about $500 for the shipping and insurance.

This best be a golden motor, as its going to take some gold to get reliably shipped. I would not depend on a pallet working, and crating isn't cheap. Also with an engine I think its possible for some stage along the process to decide to change its status due to possible oil or gas or whatever they think "might" be in it and bump the cost up. I was trying to buy a Euro S motor in Australia a couple years ago, and port to port was cheap, but the middle men on both ends were NOT, and didn't seem to be any way around them.
