Blankput Speaker Connectors
Does anyone have, or know where I can get the speaker connectors that plug into the original radio and amplifier?
My radio was cut out by a previous owner and whil I think the rest of the connections are easy enough the speaker connections look to require (or at least would be a lot easier) with the original plugs.
Thanks

I found some for an old Becker radio on Ebay a while back. Not sure if Blaupunkt is the same design, a pin and a blade type plug.

Actually, this will depend on your radio.
What model is it? Is it this one: http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/blaupun...qr49sqr_4.html
Cheers,

Are they the funky 2-pin connectors? Pics in this thread, along with a link to Crutchfield, who sells them.

Sorry I bought the radio and amp used so I don't know the original MY.
They are the funky pin and blade type but the radio and amp have the female sockets so I need the male plugs that fit in them.

Yes, JPR 928 is right.
You can get them for instance here:
http://www.voelkner.de/products/2650...echer-Set.html
But the problem is it says that you can not order them outside of Germany...
Hmmm. This probably has something to do with American anti-terror legislation...

I have to look at my radio. I am not sure, if those will really fit. Note that the part of that half of the circle is just taking up space. The back connectors on the Blaupunkt's were mostly all in a row, but I don't remeber which orientation right now. Thus, they might take up too much space. The OEM plugs looked like the one Red Flash posted.

I need to check as JPR928 says the connections are nested next to each other so the round connectors may run into each other.
I may have a handle on some used ones but if you (JPR928) are in the EU and planning to buy some anyway I will take 2 for sure assuming you are coming back this way and we can avoid international shipping.

Note that the small (stock) molded on types are not feasible to use unless you get pigtail version and add the connectors elsewhere. The ones I linked to are practical to solder on yourself to wire ends.

The rectangular screw type connectors are harder to find, but
www.audiospares.com
lists them and they advertise world wide shipping in single quantities, and cheap.
