Default Junkyard find: white 16v

Hi all,
Thought you'd be interested in a find I made the other day - there is a white 16v 928 in the local junkyard that seems to be in pretty good condition. People have come and gone with parts so it is not perfect anymore but the body is nice.

The interesting things to note are: it has over 360,000 miles registered on the odometer. Surely that is a testament to how overbuilt the 928 engine is.

The other thing is that the dash has lots and lots of french stitching all over - on the console, on the dash, it almost looks like one of Champagne's jobs, but maybe older...??

If anybody wants more pictures or parts, let me know by PM.

Hey - I really need those fenders at least, if not the doors.

Which yard? Willing to PM to local folks? I've seen two recently -- one in the Pick-a-part in Monrovia (great place) and one in the Wilmington Pick-your-part which was recently purchased by LKQ, which means that prices went up and service, cleanliness went way, way down. The latter was a '86 Auto, I was very surprised to find it in a crap yard.

Was there an extended leather option on the early 16v? What year is the one you found? 5sp or Auto?

This one is at Rialto - the black one that was there before is gone.
