Code suggests S4 5sp... G28/13/12 and is from a 88 S4...
Still a decent trans with lsd code..not sure if the LSD is still in there... best check before buying..

It's not a GT trans & I informed them of the inaccurate description several days ago - but no change in the listing.

So, they know. Well, at least, they've been told....

1013 G28/12-13 transmissions sold in the U.S. in '87-88, 701 of which had LSD, 312 didn't. So the LSD makes it less rare.

This makes Brett Jenkin's LSD-equipped G28/12 look even more like the steal that it is....

Serial # 11H05205 - this transmission is from a US/Canada model '87 S4. If it was from an '88, the serial # would have a 'J' in there instead of a 'H'. GT transmissions will have either 'K', 'L', or 'M' in the serial # (and with a 'K' it could still be from an S4 instead of a GT).

That is one toasty looking overpriced transmission.

I've seen this trans in person and it does have LSD. There is also "Best Offer" price. Cannot say if it was from a GT or not though.

Since its '87 MY and sequence number is 5205 this means its early '87 MY. Numbers started from 5000.
