No problem. I can use some help setting up canopies, tables, and chairs if you are up for it.

Repairs done and ready to roll. I should be arriving sometime Friday evening.

I would like to contribute effectively, what food items do you need?

See you in Hell!

Well once again thanks to the Rennlist community I am on my way to a Shark get together. This time the special thanks go out to Hessank who loaned me his spare fuel pump when the one that the auto parts place ordered bore no resemblence to anything from a 928. Got her reassembled and tested for leaks and she fired right up. Now I just need to clean her up and pack. yahoo!

Thanks to all who gave advice, feedback or just silent encouragement. You guys are great.

See you in Hell.

Absolutely. I'll try and be there by 10am. Anything that still needs doing I'll be happy to help with.

Stay cool in Hell!

How about some updates/pics during the event?

We will try. I may ask the neighbor to open their wifi connection for us, but we are in the 4G area in Hell.

Proposed Tech Session for Saturday.

I just got my car back up and running about a week ago after blowing the original engine at the track a couple years ago. The engine runs great, but I have been having problems with the clutch. The car is a manual trans, but the donor engine was out of an auto. I don't have any install pics that show the back of the engine, but I am thinking that the auto's don't have a clutch pilot bearing in them. I am getting a vibration from the clutch and this morning just realized that there may not be a bearing on the shaft.

I called Rodger and he is will be sending me a bearing and high them grease (thank you so much Rodger). I will trailer my car to the cottage tomorrow and put it up on jack stands. We can pull the clutch and install the bearing as a tech session. Davek9 said he is fairly good at clutch adjustments now too.

Should be a Helluva event

Just packing up. Ready to roll. I'm still doing the south of Lake Erie scenic route, so see you all there.

I'll plan on stopping by later in the day with Daniel if 911's are welcome. Weather forecast looks great.

When i met Andy (our poster printer) he told me he was going to MIS with the other boys. I told him to big everyone by Hell. Hope they show up!

The kids and I are super excited for this weekend. We always have a great time!

Got a full day of work today, but then will be heading out there later this evening. Figure I will show up around 8PM. Looking at all the crap I'm bringing, might have to make two trips seeing I have the kids and dog in tow too. Got lots of chips, snacks, and beer. Also bringing fixings for s'mores!

Looks like it's gonna be a hot one tomorrow. Make sure you hydrate!

See you in HELL!
