Default Liquidation

Well it has finally come down to this. I was hoping I would get more time but as stubborn as I am it is not in the cards.

My wife is no way equipped with being able to finish off the house and get rid of my Porsche parts collection.

My son is going to handle liquidation but given time even he will be overwhelmed.

Before loading things to the dump let us know what you need at fire sale prices and below. The gold car is the first to go. It needs a cam cover bolt drilled out of the head and new thread put in place.

The rest of the car is in really good condition but after sitting a couple of years might need some minor things.

Make any offer.

What Sean asked...

Are you keeping on with your OB restoration project?

Nice thinking ahead.

Good luck with the sale - hopefully people will snap up the good bits quickly.

This would be a great car for someone to get into a very nice 928.

Yeah Dan, what's the deal?

Moving on? (Hope not.)

Or Narrowing your 928 focus?

Dan - I am concerned about the implications of this. I will PM you later, but let me know if there is anything I can do.

Best regards,

Bob

Yeah, your wording is a little ominous to my read. If it's something medical related, I have a lot of contacts in the Bay Area community and would be more than happy to assist in any way that I can, holler by PM if you like.

Dan,

I know how hard and fast you have worked on this car. It makes me feel like a p&**sy for complaining about my arthritis. You have helped me so many times I don't even have words enough to thank you. As you know, I am still caregiver for a while, but if you or your family ever need anything from good ole NC or me personally, all you have to do is say so.
Your note the other day was so timely that it moved both me and Anne so much and I thank you for that too.

Blessings to you and your family,

Dan,

Hoping that my read on what you wrote is wrong.

Kind regards,

That car would be mine if I weren't in the poor house thanks to illness and other crap. I would almost bet it is one of the best 85s out there that you could find. Where are all the newbees who are looking for well sorted sharks? As much work as he has done to this car, it should bring over 10 - 12k if there is any justice in the world.

Good luck Dan,
