Apparently I have to put a price on the post or I get in trouble. I did not know that. $ 3000.00 US . too much? Like I said, not in a hurry.

Mine had a lot of poop in the engine. lol. I paid 500$. The most I would, as that is the scrap value of the car. Worst case scenario, I am out my time to try and get it running.
Agreed. Maybe 50$ more as the intake is worth a couple of bucks....
It is good you have time. You will be waiting a while to get that price. A long while.
Then you are looking for a "feeler". Would have been better of this thread with your real intent... to find out what you car is worth.
Based on the feedback and offers already made publicly (to which you haven't yet responded)... looks like it's worth $501.
FWIW, that is the going rate for a non-runner junker 928.

Sorry, but you will never get $3000.00 for it; thats just way to much money. I see it going for $500- $1000 at best; You could get lucky if you sit on it for a long time and put a little work into it.

........ I never really wanted it. I originally bought it for parts for my 1980. Then I found out it was a euro. It was not a planned acquisition. Anyway, I got stoked.... thought to myself hell, I will give the 80 to my woman, and build the euro for myself.
If I can get a decent price for it, I will sell it. If not, then it will get restored. I am not desperate to sell the car. It just seems that with all the discussions about saving euros and such, that maybe someone would like to buy my car. If that isnt the case, then all good. I will hold on to it, and fix it as I have time......

Well probably makes sense to put the pictures here to get a better idea of value. These were the original pictures posted - I believe there has been a little reassembly since then - but some of that probably needs work since there will electrical, vacuum, trim etc issues as we all know.

That is just about as awful a pile of parts as I have ever seen any one try to get running.
Not much value there except for the Euro parts, and then I think the offer of 500 is very good.

like I said, not in a hurry. I have a large driveway. there is room for it to sit around if need be. Like I said, I sort of came into this car. I wasnt looking for a Euro. My mustang is done right now, but the first night at the track could change that. My other 928 now has a complete body and runs good. It just needs a brake line and hvac. once that is straightened out, and I paint it, I will see whats up with the Euro if it is still around. You guys seem to think it will be. Like I have posted many times, I am new to the 928 and do not pretend to know anything....

yep it was butcherd by PO. apparently he though those tail lights were "cooler" than the oem ones. The car now has a new fender and both bumpers front and back. It is basically a shaved version of an 80 now. No side markers or rear spoiler. it is 100% straight and rust free though.

yep. guy who had it was a little confused about what was quality I think. between the tail lights, and the poor primer job, it needed help. Car runs amazingly though. Idles perfectly. it has as regular bumper and tail lights now both front and back. the fender needed to be replaced as well. All done. Going to get grinded, filled and then primed. I think flat black for a little while. she wants it pink. I was fine with the idea because I thought I was going to restore the Euro. Maybe I will still... I do not know.
