Big value difference on Club Sports as posted and the regular s4 wheels as you have. These CS wheels came on one model for one year only in the US.

Huge difference actually !! But for the hard to find tire sizes, the BEST 928 wheel ever made.....light, strong, forged, 8 and 9 inch with proper offsets !!

basically are the same but if you look closely, the factory cut out a bit more metal to lighten them up. More of a half moon instead of a rectangle. Less is more$$

S-4 wheels have rectangular smaller openings......also not to be confused with design 90 which are CAST ( cheaper much less strong) but have a similar large window but the spokes do not blend into the outer rim.....

Just curious what your opinion is on the 9.5" OEM Cup rims I bought from Devek way back in 98. I love em and I (er, my insurance co., long story), paid a zillion dollars a piece for them. Running 255/45 on the front and 275/40 on the rear and never have had a problem, even autocrossing.

They are cast not overly strong....I have 2 or 3 slightly bent ones. Rather heavy as well. Never saw one cracked so they work !!

Just so you know - these aren't *quite* the ones that your 89 GT would have had when new

Your '89 GT, being a RoW car, has the RDK system - so the stock Clubsports it came with when new had RDK sensors in them (RoW got RDK as standrd in 89, unlike USA which got it in 90).

What leads you to believe that Mike's 89GT is RoW?

Oh, and Mike got a great deal. I feel better now after seeing someone leave more money on the table than Chuck and I did recently when selling our Eibachs. The giant "L" on my forehead is finally gone.

Thanks, way back then when Devek told me they were OEM and made for some special "Cup series" plus they would let me go bigger on the tires and the ins co would fit the bill, I figured why not? Sounds like you give them a B-, good enough for me.

Oops.. my bad, its his 90 which is RoW. I just recalled a thread where he was having emissions troubles and it turned out his car was ex-Saudi.

Its obvious now that I read his sig

Only ROW '89 GT and maybe all 7 CS made that year. AFAIK on normal S4 it was option M482 meaning 7" and 8" flat disks with sensors. Though it might have been standard on some markets.
