Default Another horrible widebody

Looks like the white one we saw a few months ago, but equally horrible IMHO.

I like the drier hose used for the intake. Maybe playing it on full screen helps with it being a bit fuzzy, but I don't think it looks too bad. I would not buy it but for someone it will be just the right look.

Full screen makes it worse. I love how the rear flares just end and don't blend.

End of the video, sort of 'credit' scroll giving a brief description:
"Nothing has been done mechanically or cosmetically to compromise integrity of originality."

I too thought that was a bit funny. But it was suggesting that the car was loved and well maintained.

The irony

I have seen a lot worse. I would drive it. It is a bit confusing how the guy has owned it for 20 years but he is asking to call a 800 # and he offers financing.

With fat wide tires like that I bet it can do the 1/4 mile in 16.5 sec.

They look a lot like Devore fenders.

From the size of the fender flares, it looks like he was planning to put a lot more meat back there. They stick out several inches beyond the tires.

I live in the Philly area, when i was looking to buy I came across this car over a year ago when privately owned in NJ. I offered him $4k for it, he seemed offended. He had owned it a long time (20 years) and loved the car. He wanted 10 for it i think.
I thought it would make a nice track car project. The rear quarter opening has that 935 and 924 Carrera GT rear heat ducting thing going w/o the ducting.

The body work is not bad, the interior is bad though, and gives away the car beneath. Basically has very little Collector value: less than $2k IMO.
The car needs attention in so many important areas, to do all that bodywork first was misguided.

I dunno, I think it looks ok. Not $13,999.00 fine, but not too bad.

I'm with Sean and RGS on this one. I've seen worse, alot worse. Not my cup of tea generally, but it didn't look too bad in the pics, and by the interior it appeared to be reasonably well loved. Not for that price though.

just saw Fixer's post - I guess the interior is not so great. No substitute for a personal inspection!

Sort of a "Death Race 2000" vibe. G
