So do I bring my block, bearings, and crank to rebuild the bottom end on Sunday? Is it easier to have it on an engine stand or do you think we can do that part on a bench? Or are we just going to do a TB/WP project?
I painted my intake and am having second thoughts on the colour. I will bring some pieces so that you can see what i have chosen so far and what my options are.

Do you need locktite 518 and plasigauge?
I have an extra engine stand if we need it as well.

Fingers crossed, I just sent my calipers to John Stuart to get rebuilt.
Unfortunately the caliper I picked up from Rod did not have the correct brake line fitting. And there are no rebuilt units to be had in Ontario.

I'll attend the pre-cruise meeting at Tim's but we'll meet up with you later for the wrenching session.
Brief history about me and my 928: I live in Milton and have a blue on blue, automatic, 1988 S4 with 126,000km. I have not changed the TB/WP so a bit hesitant to do the cruise.
