Well it appears there are more of us in southern Ontario than I once thought.

What better way to get to know each other than a cruise, BBQ and wrenching party.

Alright, so here is the update:

Date: Sunday June 23rd (since the 16th is fathers day).

Start time: 9 a.m.
BBQ lunch: 12:30
Wrenching and socializing after lunch until who knows when.

Event detail:

We will meet at the Tim Hortons at Appleby Line and Dundas St in Burlington between 8:30 and 9:00, departing for a nice country cruise at 9 taking us back to my house by noon. North east corner.

FYI, the cruise will be a scenic to lightly spirited. Way to many cops in the area, plus I don't need any more tickets as I'm almost down to 1 on my record and want to keep it that way. Bring a two way radio if you have one. The buddy system will apply, so take care of the driver behind you so we don't get split up. Map to be handed out day of.

For lunch I will provide my famous home made hamburgers, corn on the cob and probably some potatoe salad. BYOB. If you don't eat meat the will be plenty of lawn to graze on. I'm not asking people to bring a dish, but if you want to contribute that would be great. Pm me.

For the remainder of the afternoon and into the evening (I don't have a specific stop time) we can do some wrenching and general socializing.

I have a single car garage with a 4 post lift, compressor and tools. I do have a small driveway, but there is plenty of street parking available and it's a quiet street.

Feel free to bring your significant other and or kids, all are welcome. I have a 4 and 8 year old, so there is plenty of toys in my back yard.

I don't have a ton of chairs, so bring a folding chair if you can.

There is a LCBO right by my house at Walkers and Dundas. We will pass by it at the end of the cruise. So you can stop here for any beverages you may want.

Alternatively you are free to stop by my house prior to meeting at Tim's if you want to put something in the fridge or beer on ice. I will be leaving my house at 8:15.

If not I will likely move to a Sunday so there is less work conflict for everyone.
