That's right! Am I crazier than most or just about as crazy? I've been with a 928 for 8 months and am looking forward to jumping back into the tank.

That should read WITHOUT a 928. Too excited by my purchase to proof read my message.

Hi Rod congrats it looks like a really nice example,
where are you located?

Might you consider some service prior to riding off into the sunset,
I have an open bay

I would say about as crazy as most here, which is normal

Congrats on the purchase. Looks like a nice car. Post more details once you have it in your garage.

What color is the interior?

The ad only shows one pic. And it's not clear on the color. What kind of shape is the interior in?

What's up with the sunroof? Jammed, motor bad, fuse blown? It could be anywhere from really simple to really complicated.

Who and when was it federalized? As I said in the other thread, it looks like they used US spec markers on the back, what about the front?

It looks in really nice shape, better exterior than mine.

I'm no expert by any means, but 83 was the changeover year for the aluminum balljoints. Make sure you have the steel ones. If you don't then you need to change them.

Congrats on the acquisition. You knew perfectly well that you couldn't stay away for very long.

The car was owned by a New York plastic surgeon who bought it new. He developed Alzheimer's disease and gave the car to his nephew about a year ago. The nephew is the person I bought the car from; I have not seen it other than in pictures. I'd like to have Stan look at it and do a POST Purchase Inspection. It has the original timing belt - not critical in a 16 valve car? What else needs to be replaced/updated prior to driving from Denver to Wichita?

Congrats on your new to you 28. I wouldn't dirve it with that old T.B. W.P. fuel, etc. Have it shipped straight to Stan. jim@mercuryautotransport.com T

Hi Rod. Welcome back. If you will PM me your email address I will send you that last copy of the Newsletter of the 928 Owners Club which has a membership application at the end of it, in case you are not a member of that Club. Too, I expect you will hear from Erik B. who will help you get signed
up to the Rocky Mountain Sharks which is an email yahoo forum for the guys around here with 928s.

Then I hope you will bring your "new" shark, yourself, your significant other or best car buddy or your kid(s) or all of them, over here to Grand Junction on July 4 through the 7th for the 2013 OCIC, the now annual convention of the 928 OC.

Default Euro

Nice headlights Rare color.

Sounds like you got some good information from the seller, might be a really nice score, fingers crossed for you.

Will be interested in that 'new cat-back', can't see any tips coming out from under the rear bumper cover...

It is NOT a valve bender...T-belt is NOT that big a deal. Inconvenient if it stops running but no disaster.

Great buy!

If that is a 4.7L Euro I would have been tempted, even though I already have a GT! I like 'em both.

It is the 4.7 Euro, you can tell by the intake runners. Same engine as in mine.

Excellent car! It will haul ***.

And Stan is the guy to have work on your car.
