Default Looking for Phonedials

I want to fit my '83S with Phonedials, i would prefer to install 944 turbo Phonedials (16x7 et23, 16x8 et23) Like the deep dish)
Anyone done this and would they fit in the fender wells correctly?
Thanks

ET23 on a 7" rim is going to stick wayyyy out in front. The Olson fitment calculator says that even a 205 section tire will overlap the fender by nearly an inch.

As mentioned, et23 will not work without some fender work. I have 7Jx16ET52.3 which work but that's about as far as you can go.

You need to look for late offset 951 Turbo (You listed early offset).

Simplest way is to find just 2 8" ET53 to replace your rears, keep your fronts.

Outside of that it gets convulted or compromising (this is the reason keep pushing on with a modern replacement).

ie. Late offset turbos have less than ideal low offset for front fitment.

Also worth noting is the early turbo has a bevel btw the rim and center, that doesn't exist on the 928 or late-951 PD.

There are more interesting combinations (can't remember them all right now... traveling on biz)

PS. I think Carlos is running late-951 8" on front & early offset 8" (w/bevel) on rear (also with stock 21mm spacer)

Ref. Early ET23, Late ET53 all around (both 7" & 8")

^Thanks everyone ^ I'd like to confirm with Carlos as to how he did it. The sporty deeper dish is the look i want but not in black in correct silver finish, i can paint them.
But correct 928 phonedials at a good price would work.
Sent PM to Lloyd

Yes I'm interested.

Thinking on the way home i will mount Hoosiers to them, keep my everyday discs..

Carlos seems to think it may be easier to fit them up front with my '83S.

Said it would be best to use late 951 wheels up front but early 8" will definitely work for rear. I think Jim also said that.

I wouldn't ask you to break up the set unless you felt it didn't matter.

If they're 16" i am interested.

That would look very Porsche.

No one seems positive late 951 7" wide fronts will work on my 83S

I don't mind rolling front fs but don't want the front wheels to break the body line will look bad.

Late 7" will work, but they'll stick out a little. I'm not sure how Carlos made the late 8" work, as the would stick out even more.

Drew,
thanks for the picture, rears look perfect.
hard to see fronts, if you have any more pics please post.
so, '87 951 w late offset should work.
a good 3/4 picture if you could would be appreciated.
Any rubbing up front of rolling rear quarters??
Much thanks
Matt

Nice '85 5-speed Drew!
