Surprised none of you have popped this one up for discussion.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...ht_1010wt_1161

The DFW crew know this car very well and I think at one time or another Roger or I have touched every nut/bolt on the car. The owner put it up for sale due to his 991 being on a boat on its way here and this one needs a new home. I can vouch that everything that needs to be done on a 928 has been done to this one and the owner has gone above and beyond the typical maintenance.

Those that know Richard know the car has seen rain once, maybe twice in the 10 years he's had the car. Paul C did the interior a few years ago, the entire car was re-painted back in '05/'06 I think. It's about as perfect as one can get and drives like new.

Reserve price I believe is $23k or so.

Is someone can pick that car up for $23K they should be very happy. This would probably be a good car for Micheal Whiloit to market if he can buy it for the reserve. I know he usually likes untouched cars but those are getting fewer every year and this one looks like it has been in good hands.

Yep, sure was. Going to hate to see it go as it is a pleasure to work on. But I get to finger a 991 so the trade off should be ok. Can't wait to change the air filter in that bad boy.

I think I'm going to have to start a "Kickstarter" campaign to raise the money to buy that car. Seriously. That car is perfection.

IIRC the video I saw essentially you drop the engine, change filter then re-install with some obvious WYAIs

This car best of show at 3rd coast IIRC........superb example

Awesome car! I wish I had the cash to pick this one up.
You know the problem well sorted 928 cars like this are, is that it competes with other newer cars in that price range. Only a true 928er would understand the value of a car like this. I'm sure it will sell...it will just take some time to find the right buyer.
