Good luck, great representation of the 928 and I hope it is a very uneventful safe run to 200. Can't wait to see the in car video....

I understand that the dinner before the run is Mexican street food
I think should propel us to our record, for George will want to get out of the car as quickly as possible

I believe Tim Murphy has upgraded that elbow to a cast aluminum piece with an upgrade hold down.

Good luck on your ORR run.

Great. But then the boot below the MAF (to the throttle) becomes the weak link. George had that pop off on the way home from the dyno. That boot used to burst into pieces, but George had a local fabricator make up a reinforced silicone boot, so it no longer bursts. The issue has moved on to become one of clamping. The blow-off valve SHOULD prevent this, but it is not fast enough if you close the throttle suddenly. So, George has decided to avoid doing that. Easy on, easy off.

Van & George should have fun. The dyno session showed few knocks and pretty good fuel mixtures, with maybe a little more tweaking needed once at race altitude (5K feet) to avoid some excessive richness at 3K and 5.8K RPM.

I plan on running three video cameras in the car again. Hopefully there won't be any big bug splatters in front of the main camera this year. Of course, video cameras are one of the lowest priorities on the starting line, so can be problematic (not turned on, pointing the wrong direction, low battery, no memory, etc), especially without Bill there to help keep everything in order. I'm sure Van and I will be focusing on getting to the finish line in one piece, and hopefully close to our target speed with a good run in the speed trap.
