Why does Ed always explain his body filler formula and then put much more than a "pea" of hardener???

I marvel at how auto body repair has advanced. Here Edd used a bunch of body filler. Last season he used a multi-ring device he tack welded to a Ferrari to pull a nesty dent out and all but eliminate the need for body filler.

These guys make me cringe and smile at the same time. Reminds me how scary it is to buy an old car... So much hidden

Seeing as the car had been standing for a long time, there was no mention of doing a cambelt / wp change.., Ed,s first job was the brakes !

9two8: You are right! I recorded it hoping it would validate all of the information that I've been absorbing about this car trying to get my 1982 back into decent working order. There was nary a mention of anything maintenance-realted whatsoever...fluids, gaskets, filters....NOTHING. He did replace a headlight switch though. Please don't get me wrong. I love the show and have seen every single one. I just love learning about different cars. It's great entertainment and education about stuff you may never see in the US.

Then after all that work, Mike sets his fat **** on the hood, and Edd on the fender!
