Can you replace the green wire connector?
Mine shattered on me recently while I was messing with my 14-pin connector. Can you just replace that connector? If so, where do you get it?

Better just buy a new one, it will last 30 more years. P/N: 928 602 907 00 can still be found for around <$120.00

But, a hundred bucks is a hundred bucks.
I'd be inclined to try to fix it.
What would Red Green do? ..........
.......... DUCT TAPE ..........

If you want to try and save it you will need to find out how far the corrosion goes into the braid of the wire. Odds are its time to replace but to each his own

Not trying to step on yer toes Roger, just not as fast at typing an answer as you were.
BTW another place google turned up included teeny little booties for each wire as well as the big booty.

Of all the wires on your 928 you might want to repair this is not one of them.....
......dont save this damaged wire,
replace it with new parts.
It should last another 60 years.
Fixing a corroded wire isnt the hot setup and almost guarantees a failure.
NOTE after it fails when your out in the desert or up in the mountains and the tow truck ride costs 200.00 plus the broken spoiler and bent fender from the tow truck,
a hunnred bucks will be a drop in the bucket.
In other words dont be a cheap buck,
fix it once,
fix it right!
