Jerry's RHD Cowl Covers for 928
The long awaited Cowl Covers for the RHD 928s are finally ready. I have the first batch of them from the Plastics forming guy and they look great. I have trimmed up a couple for these pictures and will be able to do some more as the interest may dictate.
These Cowl Covers are the same price as the LHD ones, $75 US, and the cowl seals are also the same at $15. The Stickers are extra at $5 each, and the Cover with the opening for the intensive washer bottle will always need two. I will need to know which year your 928 is in order to provide the correct Shell Sticker.
I think I will be able to send these to the places that have the RHD cars by regular mail rather than Priority Mail, but it will still be by air, so will not take too long. I am going to try to do the first ones of these at $25 for S&H and see how close I come. If I need to I'll change that later if I am too far off.
The finish on this plastic is called "hair cell" and does not look in real life as coarse as it does in these pictures because of the intense reflection of the flash.
If interested you can paypal to my email address:

Thanks for looking.

I took this picture of one of the RHD Cowl Covers outside in the shade in hopes that the true testure would show up better without the Flash. The reflections still make it look coarser in the picture than in real life.

It is just about the same finish in both, although even though they are made from the same thickness material, the material seems to vary from supplier to supplier. In this case I think these spare tire covers may have a slightly finer or less coarse finish, if there is any difference at all.

I just took a picture of the Cowl Cover together with a set of WS Gap Filler Strips and also made a visual comparison. The Camera wants to flash now so they may both look pretty coarse, but the texture is just about identical in both of them.

Hi Tony. I got you PM and have shipped yours and the others from your part of the world. I think it will take about 10 days to get to you. Thanks.
The poatage was a little more than I estimated, so the new cost for shipping by first class mail to places out of the country is $30 rather than $25.

Thanks, Matt. I am happy to do what I can to help all the folks in the 928 community keep their cars in top shape, and to be the one selling these kind of items to everyone. I'll be able to get your's in the mail later today or in the morning.

Thanks, Van, for the report. I am just getting ready to put three more in the mail--two left hookers and one right hooker.

Received Jerry's cowl cover and side windscreen strips earlier last week. The cowl cover is excellent quality and now looks like new. The fit is very snug and sturdy. Plan to fit the side windscreen strips today. Great products Jerry. Thanks for your efforts in creating these peices and in keeping our sharks looking great. Cheers
