I know this it really last minute, but if you have it open, you're sure to have a good time if you can make it out!

Hey all you SoCal Shark drivers! We have been having a little gathering every month, and it's about time you joined in the fun! The next meet is on Saturday, August 27th at 8:30pm. The current lineup consists of some 928s, some Volvos, and occasional surprises... Last week we had a 355 Ferrari show up.

We meet at Portillo's in Buena Park at 8:30pm. They serve excellent dogs, burgers, and sandwiches. There is plenty of parking where we can line up our cars. We eat at 9:00 sharp. It's always a great time. After we eat, we stand around looking at the cars and talking about what we've done, and what we have planned.

For those who might have missed the original post at the top of this page, Mike inadvertently wrote that tonight's gathering will somehow transport us a month ahead into August. It's still July!

Good visit, with several 928's (all black, for some reason), and a contingent of hot-rodded Volvo's in various flavors and shapes. Looks like the 850 wagon is the local weapon of choice. Sometimes we forget that there are many other options for going fast in a practical and comfortable manner.
