Too much wear on the side bolster
Cheap Falken tires
Bad Carfax

I would pass.

Do they run power glide transmissions in F1 racing? Or have they stepped up to the amazing three speed or perhaps a four like the later 928?

I love my 5 speed, I just need a device that will match my engine Rpm's to my input shaft.

Some sort of synchronizer perhaps?

Not that it matters since the auction has ended, but it looks like the rear bumper is from an incorrect year (the "928S" is offset to the right, not centered), which substantiates the carfax report. And since I'm already providing useless info

- The missing seat **** (from another previous post), was sitting in the back seat.
- the front left door speaker ring is cracked
- the rear glove box lid vinyl is coming off at the lip.
- the plastic charging post cover which is usually missing is there
- it has an analog clock, which adds somewhere between 2 and 4 hp

Sold for $12k after being listed for about a week at a high end dealer. Just for the record, following are a few more sample photos others might use to gauge value in the future.

Somebody is driving a real sharp looking shark, I wonder if they will pop in around here?

you have a good eye (or two). One other item of note is the aftermarket car alarm. notice the extra wires under the hood on the divers side and the tell tale red led cut into the pod down and left of the steering wheel. Either way I would't kick this girl out of bed

The car was for sale for over a month (maybe 2) but started out at $15k.

Thank you , I will post some nice photos from Norway. I hope the car is as nice at it looks. I have received some additional information about the car and everything looks promising.

I think this looks like a very nice car for that year.. just a few little issues thats all...

In a 928 - we all know you will virtually always pay more for an equivalent condition car with a manual transmission (unless you find a clueless PO) - if you prefer Auto Trans then you are in luck...

Ah no. F1 cars use advanced, super quick shift 7 speed semi automatics. T
