Default 928 Parts Galore -- Firesale!

Greetings everyone!

I am posting here with some big news; some of it good and some of it not so good. Dan the Podguy, the former owner of this account and a handsome collection of 928's, has passed on. He left the entirety of his Porsche collection, parts and accessories included, to his son Joseph. This is where the news takes a turn for the better.

In lieu of offing the whole bunch of parts to a single buyer Joseph has opened a garage and will be liquidating the entire collection himself, and at very low prices. So in the hopes of cultivating some mutually beneficial relationships based on the sale of this collection we’ve come to rennlist first. We’ve begun to catalog the collection and have only scratched the surface of what we have but will be including a list with some inventory in this post.

Any offers on cataloged parts will be considered on a first come first serve basis. We encourage you all to make special order requests for any 928 parts we don’t have listed as the bulk of our inventory has not yet been catalogued. Special orders will be handled on a largest to smallest priority basis.

Without further adieu a small sample of the inventory:

M28-44 Block and Crank case.

Oil Pan off M28-44

Piston and Rod from M28-44

Cylinder Head from M28-44 with cams and timing chain

Water Pump off of M28-44

Throttle body with lower off of M28-44

Lifters from M28-44

Sillinder Heads with Cams and Timing Chain

Engine Block M28-44 and Crank Case (no Crank)

Water Pump off of M28-42

Borla after market Muffler

Intake Manifold

Alternator

Power Steering Pump

Hood Piston

Open Differential

Limited Slip Differential

Exhaust Manifold

Front Right Brake Caliper w/ Hose

Front Left Brake Caliper

Rear Upper Control Arm

Front Control Arm Ball Joint Support

Rear Hub With Shoe Assembly

Front Sindel With Ball Joint

SMOG Pump Pulley

Wishbone Lower Control Arm w\ Bracket

This is literally a fraction of the inventory; we've got nearly every 928 part there is to be had. Shoot us a message with you're request and we'll happily respond as soon as we possibly can. Looking forward to your responses.

Sincerely,

Brinesh Restoration

Please post the price of the LSD. Or any of the prices, as I do believe is the rule. I'd sure like the LSD.

Currently we have no full 928's available for sale. We are working on an '85 gold 928 S that will be sold whole as well as a rare '86 black 928 convertible(pictured in my avatar), both of which should be read to go out the door in the next few months. Prices have yet to be determined. We also have a few parts cars if there is interest and a nice '78 project car.

Thanks for the reply! In all honesty we have WAY too many parts to possibly list all of the prices and understand that this violates the rules but just wanted to give a sample of our inventory. If the moderators find issue we'll post without the parts listed and simply take requests(we've got nearly every 928 part). We'd be looking for $400.00 on the LSD.

Brinesh Restoration,
Please pass on my condolences to Joseph and his family. Dan was a true 928 fan and made positive contributions to this board and others. I spent many hours on the phone with Dan over the years and my hope is that some of his hard work lives on through his cars and parts...

No way. Dan was really helpful to me on the boards too. Please give my regards to his family. He'll be in our prayers.

I think Kevin Lacy will be needing a set of rear tail light assemblies.

Please reply to me with availability and price. Thanks!

I think you will shortly bump into the site rules, and the reality of 928 parts pricing some of it is worth more than others, and much of it not worth shipping. There were 4 or 5 shifts in parts between the model years with many things not applicable to other model year segments, saying exhaust manifold without a picture or model year or price is pointless.

If you have a web page of your own, post a link and start putting up pictures and prices.

Would you happen to have an intact dash or pod? Mike are both cracked.

It's hard work but without part numbers or year/model origins and pictures you'll be answering a large number of questions and have many mistakes.

The loss of Dan is a loss for the 928 community and the loss of Eric is a loss to the wider world.
